Medication Management

​

Our psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) is able to assess and diagnose mild to severe mental illness, as well as to offer psychotherapy and write prescriptions. Our PMHNP is not able to write prescriptions for schedule II medications. Our PMHNP is able to see clients ages 6 and up. Our medical doctor is a family practitioner. Our medical doctor is able to write prescriptions for all medications, but there are situations in which a referral to a psychiatrist may be in the best interest of the client. Our medical doctor is able to see clients ages 10 and up.

Completion of a psychological evaluation and counseling is not a guarantee of

acceptance for medication management. This service is solely at the discretion of the medical team.
